What Is It?

Hull Truck Theatre is hosting For With By (FWB): The European Festival of Youth Theatre later this month. This is a FREE five‑day youth theatre festival bringing together young people from Hull and the East Riding of Yorkshire with youth groups and artists from across England and Europe.

Dates: Monday 27 July to Friday 31 July 2026
Host venue: Hull Truck Theatre, 50 Ferensway, Hull, HU2 8LB 

What You Can Do

• Watch exciting theatre performances by groups from across the UK and Europe
• Take part in creative workshops led by professional artists
• Spend time in a lively festival space with other young people your age
• Be part of something international without leaving your city

You do not need any previous drama or youth theatre experience. Curiosity and interest are enough.

What You Need to Know

• It’s completely free to attend
• Free lunch provided every day
• Open to young people aged 14 – 21, living in Hull
• The first event of the week will start at 6.30pm on Monday 27 July. The full schedule will available once you have signed up.

To sign up and register your interest please email engagement@hulltruck.co.uk with the subject line 'FWB Hull'. In the email, please include your name and how old you will be w/c 27 July 2026, and our team will send you all the information you need to get involved. 

The deadline for singing up is Wednesday 15 July at 5pm.
