HEAD OF PRODUCTION

We are looking for a Head of Production to lead the Production Department, which consists of the Stage and Technical (Lighting and Sound) and teams. Freelance stage management and wardrobe/costume teams are recruited for the produced programme as required. The department is also supported by the Production Administrator and occasionally freelance Production Managers.

DRAMA WORKER (Fixed Term for 12 months connected to funding)

We are looking for a Drama Worker. The Drama Worker will be responsible for planning and delivering key parts of the theatre’s Creative Learning department including planning and delivering workshops in schools, the community and at the theatre, running youth theatre sessions and working with a range of participants in a range of settings including participants with additional needs or learning disabilities.

TECHNICIAN (Fixed Term)

We are looking for a Technician to provide high-quality stage, technical and administrative support on our programme of events which includes, though not exclusively, all the work of Hull Truck Theatre (HTT) in performance or rehearsal, visiting companies including one-night performances, co-productions, cinema, Creative Learning and community activity, corporate events, workshops/development projects at HTT and at any other venue, or on tour.

WORK EXPERIENCE 

Hull Truck Theatre is delighted to offer Work Experience for young people aged 14–18 (school years 10–13) who are interested in theatre and the creative industries. Due to a high level of interest, we are only able to offer work experience on a specific week, and cannot commit to requested weeks.

Applications for Work Experience in July 2026 are now closed.

More information about work experience in 2027, and an expression of interest form, will be available later in the year.
